We invite YOU to join a serving team

and help make more and better Jesus followers!

Church is more than a place you go…

It’s a movement you’re part of.

When you take that next step to use your time and talents to serve, you not only take an active role in the movement Jesus started, you become his hands and feet in your community.

Berean Kids

Ages 0-5th Grade

Help kids connect with Jesus and grow in their relationship with him.

Who We’re Looking For

If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t mind getting a little active, a little silly, and possibly a little bit messy, loves to make people feel valued and loved, and doesn’t mind taking a stab at answering questions both mundane and profound [LOTS of them] – we’re looking for you.

Roles

Genesis (Nursery) As a leader in Genesis, you get to create a loving and safe environment for babies and toddlers.  This shows them the love of Jesus by meeting their needs and gives their parents the opportunity to hear more about Him.

Small Group Leader (SGL) An SGL is a person interested in investing in the lives of a few kids to encourage them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.  They help kids make connections between their life and what they’re learning to create great discussion and have fun doing it!  These interactions influence their faith in Jesus and deepen their relationship with others.

SGLs can serve with any of the following age groups:

2s & 3s

Preschool

K-2nd grade

3rd- 5th grade

Large Group Leader (LGL)As LGLs, you get to engage the kids through scripted games, stories, and worship songs in a large group setting. You create a fun environment kids will want to return to and the kids walk away with a basic understanding of the month’s Life App and Bible story.

Guest Services As a Guest Services volunteer, you get to welcome kids and families at the door with a big smile and create a great first impression. You help kids and families feel welcomed and cared for as soon as they come to check in.

Berean Students

6th Grade-Young Adult

Help students connect with Jesus and grow in their relationship with him.

Who We’re Looking For

If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t mind a good 80’s rock ballad (which may or may not exist), enjoys having conversations that can range from absurd to profound in a matter of minutes, and doesn’t mind getting a little messy and/or sweaty at times – we’re looking for you.

Roles

Small Group Leader (SGL) As a Launch SGL, you get to invest in the lives of a few students to encourage and equip them to become bold in their faith.  Your role is to help students have meaningful interactions during the experience, participate in discussion, prayer, study, and activities.  These interactions strengthen their faith in Jesus and help them apply the Bible to life.

Game Coordinator It might not seem like it, but games can make a big difference. A good game gets students engaged and having fun, and when we’re having fun, our walls start to come down. As a game coordinator, you get to position students for life-changing experiences through activities that make them work, make them laugh, and make them think (but not too hard).

Snack Coordinator Again, this might not seem like a big deal, but it is. We bond around activity, and few activities bring us together like food. As a snack coordinator, you help provide and distribute snacks, but more than that – you help feed students’ souls by feeding, well… them.
